Description

This study will focus on interaction of groundwater with surface water bodies (rivers, lakes) under the influence of climatic forcing (rain, ET). The study requires use of various data processing techniques, remote sensing and the advanced technique of integrated hydrological modeling so only student(s) obtaining very good marks, particularly of groundwater modeling elective, will be assigned to this topic. The exact location of the study area will be defined later; students interested in this topic, can inscribe tentatively and follow groundwater modeling elective Q4.
